Dan really connected with the class in an easy going, respectful and inclusive way. He had the class trying new ways of working almost without realising they were. His real in-the-trenches dev experience combined with agile coaching made a powerful combo. I wish I could have Dan back to do more of this!

I arranged for Dan to come in and conduct a 2-day TDD, Pairing and property-based testing workshop. It was an awesome learning experience and really helped transform the mentality of the participants, who were of varied backgrounds and skill levels (from novices to experienced coders). The subsequent step-change in pairing, test coverage and team productivity has been incredible to see – team members are even pairing remotely on a daily basis when co-located teammates are unavailable. The resulting knowledge-sharing from this pairing focus has also had a positive impact on each team’s ability to deliver autonomously, which will continue to pay dividends in the future.
